What types of motors do you repair and rewind?

We repair and rewind AC motors, DC motors, alternators for generators, transformers and SWLP motors.

Can you repair explosion-proof type motors?

Yes, our service facilities are IECEx certified by SIRIM QAS International and we have IECEx certified for Responsible Person and Operative Person.

How many days does motor repair take to complete?

It depends on the type of servicing. HV motor repairs generally take longer than LV motor repairs and rewinding typically requires more time than an overhaul.

What voltage range and motor sizes can your team handle for repair?

We handle voltage ranges from 415V to 11kV.

Do you offer services like motor rewinding complete with VPI?

Yes, we provide rewinding services and have VPI facilities that can accommodate motors up to 2.5 meter × 2.5 meter.

What quality standards and certifications do your motor repair services follow?

Our services comply with IECEx and EASA standards.

What types of on-site condition-based monitoring services do you provide?

We conduct in-situ sleeve bearing checks, vibration analysis and lube oil checks on-site.

Can you dismantle, reinstall and re-babbit sleeve bearings directly on-site?

We can inspect the condition of sleeve bearings on-site using a DPT test. However, re-babbitt of sleeve bearings must be performed at our workshop.

Do you offer immediate corrective actions or predictions to reduce downtime and repair costs?

We recommend that our clients conduct regular motor health checks and overhaul their motors at least once every two years.

Do you have a team to perform repair works offshore?

Yes, we have personnel certified with BOSIET and our team is capable to perform inspections or assisting with any motor-related electrical works at offshore. We also have experience carrying out in-situ rewinding works on Offshore Supply Vessels.

Can you perform on-site inspection, motor removal and installation?

Yes, we can arrange our team for on-site inspection, dismantling and installation complete with laser alignment.

What quality standards and certifications do your motor repair services follow?

Our services comply with IECEx and EASA standards.

What type of on-site condition-based monitoring services do you provide?

We provide in-situ sleeve bearing checks, vibration analysis, lube oil checks on-site, site balancing and laser alignment.

Can you conduct vibration analysis, site balancing, laser alignment and thermal imaging at my site?

Yes, our team is capable to perform vibration analysis, site balancing and laser alignment on-site. For thermal imaging, we need to carry it out at our workshop as it requires motor dismantling.

Can you explain the step-by-step process to arrange motor repair at your workshop?

  1. Provide us with the motor nameplate details and we will prepare a budgetary quotation.
  2. Once the purchase order is received, we can arrange motor collection from your site, or you may deliver
    the motor to our workshop.
  3. We will dismantle the motor and provide a Pre-Test Report along with the actual quotation. Clients may
    request to witness the pre-inspection process.
  4. Upon receiving the revised purchase order, we will proceed with the repair and overhaul and inform the
    client of the required lead time.
  5. Once the repair is complete, we will invite the client to witness the solo run test.
  6. We will arrange delivery and provide the Final Report accordingly.
